Pipestone National Monument is proud to highlight the work of Indigenous artists by hosting an Artist-in-Residence program again this summer! Artists will display and demonstrate their particular style of art for one week, while engaging with and educating visitors from all over the world. This summer’s artists and dates are:
- May 24th – 30th: Jeff Reddoor (Assiniboine Tribe of the Fort Peck Reservation)
- June 21st – 27th: Holly Young (Standing Rock Dakota)
- July 25th – 31st: John Knife Sterner (Sicangu Lakota)
- August 23rd – 29th: Marlena Myles (Spirit Lake Dakota & also of Mohegan and Muscogee descent)
