The Resource Stewardship and Science directorate serving the Department of Interior Regions 6, 7, and 8 supports comprehensive resource management through collaborative partnerships to enable excellence in resource stewardship. The directorate provides scientific and technical expertise and quality customer service to advance interdisiplinary planning, informed decision-making, and the implementation of practical on-the-ground solutions that support natural and cultural resource conservation while providing engaging experiences for visitors.
