See the Directions Tab below for GPS Directions. The mailing address is for the administrative headquarters in Barstow, CA which is over an hour and a half away Mojave National Preserve's attractions.

Directions using third party mapping sites may not accurately reflect road status. It is best to visit Road Conditions to determine your best route. 

Entrances to Mojave National Preserve are in Baker, CA at Kelbaker Road and Interstate 15, Intersection Kelbaker Rd and Interstate 40, Nipton Road and Ivanpah Road, Essex Road at Interstate 40, and Cima Road at Interstate 15.  



 

Operating Hours & Seasons

Mojave National Preserve roads, campgrounds, restrooms, and trails are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week unless adverse conditions impact area access.

Please visit Current Conditions and Alerts before you venture into the Preserve so that you can be informed of any temporary facility, road, or other closures that may impact your visit
