All campsites will be reservable up to six months in advance on a rolling basis. Campers will be permitted to make same day reservations. The Preserve provides public internet access at Hole-in-the-Wall visitor center and Mid Hills Campground. The online campground reservation system will open at 9:00 am Pacific Time on Monday, December 23 for campsites to be reserved beginning January 1, 2025.

Mojave National Preserve’s campground fees will change as follows:
Campground Fee Effective January 1, 2025
Hole-in-the-Wall Campground  $25 per night
Mid Hills Campground  $20 per night
Black Canyon Group and Equestrian Campground  $50 per night

Extensive public engagement followed by NPS review led to the determination that the park’s proposed updated campground fees were comparable to fees charged by similar nearby campgrounds. The increased fees will provide critical revenues to fund operations and deferred maintenance projects that directly enhance the visitor experience. Planned projects include correcting accessibility deficiencies in two campgrounds, repairing parking surfaces at Hole-in-the-Wall Campground, and installing toilet facilities at high visitor use areas.

About Mojave National Preserve: Established October 31, 1994 with the enactment of the California Desert Protection Act and spanning over 1.5 million acres, the Preserve is the third largest unit of the National Park System within the contiguous United States.
