Volunteers-In-Parks (VIPs) are Very Important People! Explore, learn, and share your time and talent while helping us protect these special places. From assisting with trash pickups, removing non-native invasive plant removal, and helping with interpretive programs, and everything in between - the work our volunteers do makes a difference! The time commitment for volunteer service varies from short-term projects to continuous work extending over months. Drop-in events are held throughout the year, including three national service days: MLK Day in January, Earth Day in April, and National Public Lands Day in September. ![]() Non-Native Invasive Species Removal
