The National Park Service preserves unimpaired the natural and cultural resources and values of the national park system for the enjoyment, education, and inspiration of this and future generations. You can make a donation directly to the National Park Service via donation boxes at the Plains Inn and Antiques Mall. Donations collected at this box are used to improve exhibits at these facilities and to offer educational programs. Donating Historic ObjectsHistorical objects and other items directly related to President or Mrs. Carter’s life in Plains, Georgia or the Jimmy Carter National Historical Park may be donated to the park's museum collection. If accepted into the collection, these items will be preserved for the benefit of future generations. Please send photographs and information about your items via email. A park museum staff member will contact you to discuss the proposed donation. Donate Your TimeDonations do not have to be of money or historic objects, your time is also a valuable asset. The park can use your assistance in all areas of operations. Depending on your skills and interests and the needs of the park, we will match you to the best job available.
