Driving to Auburn

From the East (Syracuse): Follow signs for I-690 W. Exit from I-690 onto NY-5 W toward Auburn. Take NY-5 W for 17 miles.

From the West (Rochester): Follow I-490 E and I-90 E to NY-414 S. Continue I-90 E toward Albany. Take exit 41 off of I-90 E onto NY-414 toward Waterloo Clyde. Follow signs for Waterloo/Seneca Falls/Montezuma Refuge. Follow NY-318 E for 4 miles, turn onto US-20 E for 11 miles.

From the South (Binghamton): Take I-81 N for 38 miles. Exit I-81 N onto US-11 N. Follow signs to exit off of US-11 N and continue on NY-41 N for 30 miles.

From the North (Oswego): Take NY-34 South into Auburn from the north.

Getting to the Park

Thompson Memorial A.M.E. Zion Church
47-49 Parker Street, Auburn NY

The primary visitor contact station for the park is the parsonage for the Thompson Memorial A.M.E. Zion Church. It is open seasonally, Fridays and Saturdays from 10am to 4pm.

Harriet Tubman Home

180 South Street, Auburn NY (1.3 miles)
The Harriet Tubman Residence, Harriet Tubman Home for the Aged, and the Harriet Tubman Home visitor center are operated by Harriet Tubman Home, Inc. Visit Harriet Tubman Home for more information about tours and hours of operation.
