Restrictions - Riders Must Be: ♦ At least 9 years of age. ♦ Be at least 57 inches (4'9") tall. ♦ Weigh less than 200 lbs. or 225 lbs fully dressed (depending upon the trip) ♦ Be able to understand instructions in English. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. North Rim Mule Ridesare offered May 15th through Oct. 15th. National Forest Trail Rides - South RimOne-hour and two-hour trail rides through the pines of the Kaibab National Forest and twilight campfire and wagon rides are available. Both horses and mules are utilized. Apache Stables is located just outside of the South Entrance to Grand Canyon National Park at the north end of the community of Tusayan.
