Self Guided

All self guided programs must be scheduled in advance to ensure no conflicts with other groups.

This program is Teacher Instructed:

Discovering Fort Smith Grades 5-12 - program can be done in groups or individually.

Groups (recommended time: 1.5-2 hours)

Students working in groups will use the exhibits to research and present their findings about the historic jails, Deputy US Marshals, Judge Isaac C. Parker, the federal courtroom, and events that shaped Fort Smith.

Individual (recommended time: 1-1.5 hours)

This program was developed using Common Core standards. Teacher and student tested and approved.
