Do you want to plan a field trip to Fort Smith National Historic Site?
Here's what you need to know!
- Please email Ranger Jessika for more information about requesting a field trip or a Virtual Ranger Program related to Fort Smith's history.
- Depending on staffing availability, Ranger Guided Programs may be requested for Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
- Ranger-guided and Teacher-guided Programs available include Trail of Tears program, Civil War in Arkansas, and Fort Smith Military History. We will do our best to accommodate your request.
- Your reservation is NOT confirmed until you have been contacted by the Fort Smith NHS staff.
- Please contact us at least 2 WEEKS prior to your requested date.

Pre-Program Activity
Watching one or more of the park's videos especially Fort Smith: Peacekeeper of Indian Territory will help students prepare for their visit.
