Park Fees & Passes

Amenity fees will be charged starting on April 15th, 2026.

Please Note:

  • You might not receive a confirmation email when you schedule an appointment, though we did get your reservation.

  • Please show up at your chosen reservation time.

  • Passes may not be available without an appointment.

Important Fee Information

  • No fees are charged to people who are dropping off or picking up someone from any river access ramps and those walking through Smithfield Beach on McDade Recreational Trail.
  • Expanded Amenity Fees are not covered by America the Beautiful Annual Pass. Holders of the following passes are eligible for a 50% discount on the Expanded Amenity Fees:
    • America the Beautiful Access Pass
    • America the Beautiful Senior Annual/Lifetime Pass
    • America The Beautiful Military Annual/Lifetime Pass
  • Expanded Amenity Fee season passes are available beginning late winter/early spring.

Expanded Amenity Fees

Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area does not charge entrance fees to visit the park. Specific areas used for swimming, picnicking, and launching boats do have expanded amenity fees that cover the cost of maintenance in these areas.

Expanded Amenity Fee Areas - $10 per vehicle per day

  • Milford Beach (PA)
  • Dingmans Access (PA)
  • Bushkill Access (PA)
  • Smithfield Beach (PA)
  • Turtle Beach (NJ)

Please Note: Smithfield, Milford, and Turtle Beaches will only accept credit/debit card payments when employees are on duty. Separate payment stations are available for cash payment. Cash is accepted at all other fee areas in the park and at the three beaches when fee collectors are not on duty. Credit/debit card payments can be made by filling out information on fee envelopes when fee collectors are not on duty.

Expanded Amenity Season Passes

Park Season Pass Regular:

1st pass - $45
2nd pass - $25
3rd pass and beyond - $12.50

Park Season Pass Senior/Military:

1st pass - $22.50
2nd pass - $11.25
3rd pass and beyond - $5.75

To pay with a credit card (preferred):

  1. Download the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area Season Pass Application.
  2. Fill the application out on the computer or print the application to fill it out.
  3. Email dewa_fees@nps.gov with a completed application, either an image or attached.
  4. When we recieve your application, we will call you to process payment over the phone.
  5. Once payment is processed, we will mail you your season pass!

To pay with a check:

  1. Download the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area Season Pass Application.
  2. Print your application and fill it out.
  3. Mail your application and check to the address provided.
  4. When we recieve your application, we will process your payment and application.
  5. Once payment is processed, we will mail you your season pass!

National Park and Federal Recreational Lands Pass program that covers entrance fees and specified fees at federal public land sites.

Annual - $80
Senior Annual - $20
Senior Lifetime - $80
Military Annual - Free for Active Duty Military and Dependents
Military Lifetime - Free for Veterans and Gold Star Families
Access Lifetime - Free for permanently disabled visitors
Every Kid Outdoors 4th Grade - Free with voucher for students in 4th grade
