Looking for a fun and meaningful way to spend the day with your family, friends, co-workers, or classmates? Group and corporate opportunities are a great way to create memories together, facilitate team-building, and make a difference in preserving park resources for future generations.

Projects may include exotic plant management, landscaping, trail maintenance, railroad car maintenance, facility maintenance, or program assistance. We work closely with park and park partner staff to identify rewarding projects that support park needs. For planning purposes, a group is defined as having five or more members. To learn more or to shedule your group, visit the Conservancy for Cuyahoga Valley National Park's website or email us at volunteer@forcvnp.org.

Service Learning

From youth groups to grad school, our service learning opportunities provide students of any age a unique way to make a difference in their national park. With the help of dedicated staff and other service learning volunteers, you can work on a project that inspires you. What will that be?

Students (Grades 4 - 12) and Youth Groups

Students ages seven and up will learn new skills, develop strong bonds with their peers, and appreciate the value of giving back to a service learning project in Cuyahoga Valley National Park. Projects include invasive plant removal, landscaping, and trail and facility maintenance. Conservancy and National Park Service staff will work with you to find the perfect volunteer project for your:

  • School group
  • Class
  • Boy Scout troop
  • Girl Scout troop
  • Faith-based youth group
  • Club
  • Eagle Scout project
  • Girl Scout Bronze Award project

For more information and to schedule your project, contact Park Ranger Josh Bates at e-mail us or the volunteer office at volunteer@forcvnp.org.
