Visitation to Little Rock Central High School NHS has grown significantly since the site began operations in 1998. Every year, the NHS welcomes visitors from across the nation and around the world to walk in the footsteps of the Little Rock Nine.

2023 Cumulative Benefit to the Local Economy

In 2023, 58.6 thousand park visitors spent an estimated $3.9 million in local gateway regions while visiting Little Rock Central High School National Historic Site. These expenditures supported a total of 58 jobs, $1.6 million in labor income, $2.9 million in value added, and $5.4 million in economic output in local gateway economies surrounding Little Rock Central High School National Historic Site.
