Built in 1988 by the Army Corps of Engineers, the Bandy Creek Pool is a rare amenity for a National Park Service campground. The complex contains a main pool with a chair lift, wading pool, accessible restrooms, outdoor shower, volleyball court, playground, and picnic shelter. The pool is open to the public every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (and Holidays) from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm (Eastern Time). The daily use fees are based on age:
You can now pay for your pool wristband online! Just print or show a copy of your receipt from your phone at the campground entrance station to get your wristbands to access the pool. Visit https://www.pay.gov/public/form/start/1014029937 to pay now. After-hours Pool RentalsAfter-hours pool rentals are available for time periods when the pool is not already open to the public. Reservations require a special use permit and include exclusive use of the pool and picnic shelter adjacent to the pool along with at least one lifeguard on duty for the duration of the event. There is a non-refundable application fee of $50.00 and can be paid online or mailed to Big South Fork NRRA, ATTN: Pool Supervisor, 4564 Leatherwood Road, Oneida, TN 37841. All checks should be made out to "National Park Service".All after-hours pool rentals must be reserved a minimum of two hours. The fee is $150 for up to 50 persons (this includes the application fee). There is a $50 charge for each additional hour. Applications must be submitted no later than five business days before the requested date/time of the event in order to allow enough time for processing and scheduling of a lifeguard.
