Los Alamos, N.M. – The National Park Service is proud to share Bandelier National Monument’s 2024 annual report.
“I am very proud of our progress toward achieving our strategic goals and the many other accomplishments by our staff and our partners,” said Superintendent Patrick Suddath. “We continue to strive to be the premier park for showcasing the ancestral and ongoing connections between the outstanding cultural and natural resources contained in Bandelier, and the Pueblos and Tribes that continue to call this place home.”
Highlights of the year included signing a shared services agreement with Valles Caldera National Preserve’s Fee Collection program, working with New Mexico Game & Fish to monitor reintroduced native fish in Frijoles Creek, rerouting the trail at the Tsankawi Unit, expanding the Juniper Campground parking lot, and recycling more than 9,000 pounds of scrap metal.
The report can be found and downloaded on the park website.
