That's what being a Junior Ranger is all about. Earning a badge isn't just for kids. Adults can earn their Junior Ranger badges by completing more activities and learning about the Apostle Islands, too!

 

How to become a Junior Ranger

We have two ways you can become a Junior Ranger. Earn your badge by:

• At the park: Pick up a Junior Ranger book at a park visitor center or lighthouse. Spend the day exploring and enjoying the park. Return the completed booklet to any visitor center or lighthouse, or mail it to us.

• At Home: Download one of our two Junior Ranger booklets and get started at home. These books feature activities for all ages and skills. Learn about the islands and what makes this such a special place, drawing people to these shores for thousands of years. The Junior Ranger Activity Guide features the Ojibwe culture because it's so cool! It can help you view the world from a different point of view.
  • Take one of our virtual tours of the park, since we won't see you in person.
  • Once you have finished the booklet you can bring it to the the park in person, email us scanned or photographed version, or mail it to us and we'll send you your badge.
