Enhance your understanding and enjoyment of Zion National Park by participating in a ranger program. Limited programming may be offered throughout the year, with more program offerings in Zion Canyon from mid-May to mid-October. Topics include geology, plants, animals, human history, and more. All ranger-led programs are free and for all ages. Check the current information guide, or at visitor centers and bulletin boards throughout the park for times, places, and subjects. Ranger-led programs are required to earn a Junior Ranger Badge. Patio TalksAttend a talk at the Zion Canyon Visitor Center Patio Talk area at 10 am and 11:30 am daily. Or, attend a talk at the Zion Human History Museum at 10:30 am or 4 pm. Talks last 20 to 30 minutes and are accessible for people using wheelchairs, walkers, and other mobility devices. Bathrooms and water filling stations are located at the Zion Canyon Visitor Center Plaza. Patio talks are great for audiences of all ages. Ride with a RangerEnjoy a unique two-hour experience on this ranger-led shuttle bus tour of Zion National Park. You will have an up close look into Zion Canyon through several special stops. The shuttles are accessible for people who use wheelchairs or other mobility devices. There are typically no bathrooms or drinking water along the route. Watchman Evening ProgramDiscover what makes Zion such a special place. Topics often include the ranger's favorite stories (animals, people, lesser known Zion sites, and more). See bulletin boards or visit the Zion Canyon Visitor Center to ask a ranger for specific program topics. This program is outside, so please dress for the weather. The Watchman amphitheater is fully accessible with spaces for wheelchairs and mobility devices. There are restrooms and water a short distance from the amphitheater. Accessible parking is available as well. |
