The park's phone number is answered during business hours. A voicemail message can be left after site hours. The Visitor Center includes temporary exhibit displays, a Jefferson National Parks Association bookstore/gift shop, and National Park Service staff to receive visitors and answer questions. Note: an internet search for the NHS tend to direct you to the "Boyhood Home" on 13th Street instead of the "Birthplace Home." Use the NHS address at 117 S. Hervey Street on a GPS, etc. to reach the National Park Service site.
