Excavation Station 
Everyone gets to dig at the Waco Mammoth National Monument! Check in at the Welcome Center for rules and information. Please dig carefully because our replica Ice Age fossils are fragile, and no, you don't get to keep what you find. Public free dig is available during regular operating hours, weather permitting, and excluding times that the Excavation Station may be reserved (fee applies) for special occasions.
