Children aged 15 and under are free.
Montezuma Well - Free Entrance - $0.00
Montezuma Well, a detached unit or district of Montezuma Castle, does not charge an entrance fee.
Tuzigoot Entrance Fee - Per Adult - $10.00
This entrance fee covers one adult, aged 16 and over, for entrance to Montezuma Castle and Tuzigoot National Monuments for 7 days.

$35 annual pass, good for one (1) year.
Will cover the entrance fee at both Montezuma Castle and Tuzigoot National Monuments.
Available to everyone; good for card holder plus 3 adult guests.
Can be obtained in person at Montezuma Castle National Monument, Tuzigoot National Monument, or online at Recreation.gov.
Passes are NON-REFUNDABLE, NON-TRANSFERABLE, and cannot be replaced if lost or stolen.

Tuzigoot & Montezuma Castle National Monuments Seven (7) Day Pass
$10 per adult ages 16 and up, anyone who is age 15 or younger is free.
Will work at Montezuma Castle and Tuzigoot National Monuments for unlimited entry for seven (7) days.
Receipt can be upgraded to an Annual Pass or Lifetime Pass from seven (7) days of purchase.
Passes are NON-REFUNDABLE, NON-TRANSFERABLE, and cannot be replaced if lost or stolen.
Educational Fee Waivers
** Please Note: Due to Covid-19 restrictions and CDC recommendations, we are reviewing Academic Fee Waivers on a case by case basis. Please email our fee division before confirming any plans. **
Schools or other bona fide educational institutions (accredited, officially recognized, or tax exempt for educational purposes) may request an educational fee waiver. The fee waiver will allow qualifying groups free entry into the park for educational or scientific purposes.
Fee Waiver Process
Tuzigoot National Monument is grouped with Montezuma Castle National Monument and Montezuma Well. You will only need to fill out one fee waiver to visit any one or all three of the sites. Fee waiver applications MUST be completed AT LEAST two weeks before the scheduled site visit(s).
State the educational purpose of your visit, i.e., what your group will be studying during their park visit. And additional pages if necessary. Include your itinerary! Indicate the date(s) and times you are planning to visit the park and include the number of students with the ages or grade levels and the number of adults that you will be bringing.

Interagency Annual Pass
An Annual Pass is $80 and can be obtained at either Montezuma Castle National Monument, Tuzigoot National Monument, or at store.usgs.gov.
Valid for one full year from the month of purchase (through the last day of that month).
Covers the pass owner and three (3) accompanying adults age 16 and older or all passengers in a single, private, non-commercial vehicle to enter all federally operated recreation sites across the country.
Annual Passes purchased as gifts have two blank signature lines for use by the gift recipient.
Photo identification will be required at all sites to verify ownership.
Passes are NON-REFUNDABLE, NON-TRANSFERABLE, and cannot be replaced if lost or stolen.
$20 Annual Senior Pass available for U.S. citizens or permanent residents age 62 or over. Valid for the cardholder and three additional adults or the vehicle at all federal sites across the U.S.
Valid for one full year from the month of purchase (through the last day of that month).
May be obtained in person at Montezuma Castle National Monument, Tuzigoot National Monument, or online at store.usgs.gov. Seniors must provide documentation of age and residency or citizenship (Ex: a driver's license).
May provide a 50 percent discount on some amenity fees charged for facilities and services such as camping, swimming, boat launch, and specialized interpretive services. Generally does NOT cover or reduce special recreation permit fees or fees charged by concessioners

Senior Lifetime Pass

Military Annual Pass

Available for:
Current US military members and their dependents in the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard, and Space Force, as well as Reserve and National Guard members. Please check photo ID requirements before arriving.
Passes may not be issued as gifts since eligible recipient must present proof of eligibility.
Access Pass
Free for U.S. citizens or permanent residents with permanent disabilities. This pass is valid for the entire lifetime of the cardholder. Allows entry for the cardholder and three additional adults or the entire vehicle into all federal sites across the U.S.
May be obtained for free in person at Montezuma Castle and Tuzigoot National Monuments or online at store.usgs.gov (shipping rates may apply). Applicants must provide acceptable documentation or agree to a verbal statement provided by a park ranger.
Acceptable Documentation:
A copy of ID issued by an authorized U.S. agency such as your driver's license, passport, or state issued ID& Documentation that proves permanent disability such as:
Statement by a licensed physician (Statement must include: that the individual has a PERMANENT disability, that it limits one or more aspects of their daily life, and the nature of those limitations.) ;
Document issued by Federal agency such as the Veterans Administration, Social Security Disability Income, or Supplemental Security Income;
Document issued by a State agency such as a vocational rehabilitation agency.

4th Grade Annual Pass
How Do I Get My Pass?
Once your 4th grader has completed their web based activity on the Every Kid Outdoors website, they will be awarded their voucher for printing
Have your 4th grader bring the voucher to any participating Federal recreation site and they may exchange their Every Kid Outdoors voucher for the free Annual 4th grade Pass
Pass covers the fourth grader (card holder) and three adults.
Good from September to August (the school year plus following summer)
Volunteer Pass
This annual pass is for volunteers acquiring 250 service hours on a cumulative basis (beginning January 1, 2007). It provides access to, and use of, Federal recreation sites that charge an Entrance or Standard Amenity Fee for a year, beginning from the date of award.
The pass admits the pass holder and passengers in a non-commercial vehicle at per vehicle fee areas and pass holder + 3 adults, not to exceed 4 adults, at per person fee areas (children under 16 are admitted free).
Former Pass Program Passes:
All Golden Eagle, Golden Eagle Hologram, Golden Access and Golden Age Passports will continue to be honored according to the provisions of the pass. Only paper Golden Age and Access Passports may be exchanged free of charge for new plastic passes.
