Hey Kids, complete this Junior Ranger booklet by downloading this PDF version at home. Just complete six activities and send it to us by email or print and mail your pages to us, then we will send you the badge. For those under age five, we have Mini-Ranger booklets available upon request. They are designed to help adults with younger children enjoy their time together outside while visiting and meet the unique needs of early childhood development. They can be easily modified to help meet your child's specific needs. To Earn the Mini Ranger Award, They must complete at least four activities. 
Arizona Junior Ranger Explorer To earn this patch, you will need to visit four National Park Service sites in Arizona, fill out the travel log, and have a ranger sign your log. Next, complete the John Wesley Powell and Leave No Trace activities, then complete five other additional activities. Each Activity consists of 2 pages. For example: To complete the Historic Archeology activity, you must fill out pages 22 & 23. 
Learn about the Night Sky! To earn this patch, you need to complete the number of activities based on your age, but feel free to do more. Also, you will need to either attend the Monument's Night Sky event or complete the "Exploring with your senses" and "Take a Planet Walk" activity found within the activity book. You can do so by looking for the star ratings throughout the book and choose the activities that are right for you! |
