Jewel Cave Ranger Programs
A variety of talks, demonstrations and guided nature hikes are offered on the surface. Program topics include cave exploration, wildlife, fire ecology, Jasper Fire, wildflowers and plants of the area, and other subjects. Programs are regularly scheduled from mid-June through mid-August, and may be offered throughout the rest of the year. There are no fees for these programs. Contact the Visitor Center for the current program schedule.

The Ranger Programs are fun for all ages! However, at least one Ranger Program is required for Junior Rangers to earn their badge.

Accessibility Information
Ranger programs take place either inside the Visitor Center or just outside on the patio. This area is accessed by stairs or by ramp. A wheelchair is available for loan in the Visitor Center.
Jewel Cave National Monument does allow service animals in all outdoor areas, within the visitor center, and on the Discovery Tour (the only accessible cave tour). Service animals must be harnessed or leashed.
