Objective

I can create a visual representation using a bar graph.

Background

The intent is to provide contextual information for relevancy while learning the process of interpreting fractions in a bar graph.

Have video available on Smartboard or learning stations and pre-print documents

Procedure

I do : Introduce the concept of voting.

We do: Whole group discussion of voting questions, poll students, show video clips from Youtube, conduct small group or pairs to create graphs.

You do: Students will use generated graphs to individually convert to fractions for credit.
