About

The National Park Service museum program is responsible for preserving and protecting millions of cultural and natural museum and archival collections located at 390 parks and centers throughout America. These collections tell powerful stories of America’s diverse cultures, eminent men and women, flora and fauna, significant events, and innovative ideas. The collections mirror the unique story of each park and collectively represent the nation’s natural and cultural heritage.
