    The Richmond Shipyards - Audio Program

    This program is part of an introduction to the history of the park and the WWII Home Front. You can listen to it at home, while driving, before your visit to the park visitor center or as part of the official NPS App driving tour. These files are also available as a free download on our website and can be a great educational tool for your classroom.

    The Flamingo Marina, open year-round, can accommodate boats with electric and water hookups. Marina is currently open with access to power, 30A water pedestals, pump out, showers (available for $3), fuel, and fully stocked marina store (beer, water, sunscreen, bug spray, to-go food etc.) The channel will accept a four-foot maximum draft at HIGH-TIDE. At SLACK TIDE (0 tide) the channel is approximately two feet deep.

    The Charles Hall Ferry returns to service July 4th providing passage over Lake Powell between Bullfrog and Halls Crossing. Initially the ferry will operate Thursdays through Sundays and fee payment will be cash only.

From March 1 through July 31, 2023, Miller Rocks, Hog Island, and Duck Island are closed to better protect nesting seabirds. From March 1 through September 30, 2023, a portion of the Point Reyes Beach is closed to certain activities to better protect nesting western snowy plovers.

    Dry Tortugas National Park announced the selection of Yankee Freedom III, Inc. to provide interpretive ferry service to the park. The new contract term, which begins Nov. 1, is for ten years and will provide daily ferry service to the park with departures from Key West.
