Shenandoah National Park offers free ranger-guided programs for summer groups (camps, clubs, etc.) coming to the Park. These programs are an opportunity for students to learn hands-on about a variety of topics. Whether coming for a few hours or a week, Shenandoah National Park is the perfect place for fun and learning. Programs vary based on age, interest, and time. Consider a hike, exploratory stations, or a service project for your group. No matter the activity, summer in the Park is the perfect time to engage your youth in the wonders of nature! Group size is limited to a minimum of 10 students and a maximum of 60 students. Prior registration is required and space is limited. Programs are normally offered tfrom mid-June to late-August.

If you are coming with a personal or family group, please consider attending our public ranger-led programs throughout the park. Check the website calendar, the bulletin, or at a visitor center for additional information.

To request a program, please contact the Education Office for assistance or for more information.
