NPS / Tim Rains, Denali National Park and Preserve

Rock Creek Park is home to a number of mammals, though many of them are more active at night than during the day. Deer browse on plants, rodents eat seeds and nuts, raccoons scavenge and hunt along the creek, foxes eat rodents, and opossums chomp on insects.

Keep wildlife wild. Keep your distance and never feed any wildlife in the park.
