Poverty Point National Monument is managed by the state of Louisiana; follow the link to learn about the state entrance fees.

There is no National Park Service entrance fee. National Park and Federal Recreational Lands passes cannot be used for the state entrance fee.

An entrance pass is not required to access Poverty Point National Monument.

Other National Park Service sites may require an entrance pass or fee. Depending on your trip plans, an interagency pass may save you money.

Come experience the national parks! All National Park Service sites that charge an entrance fee will offer free admission to everyone (other fees may apply). Mark your calendar for these entrance fee-free dates:

• Saturday, April 20 — First Day of National Park Week
• Wednesday, June 19 — Juneteenth
• Sunday, August 4 — The Great American Outdoors Act
