No entrance pass required
An entrance pass is not required to access Paterson Great Falls National Historical Park. Other National Park Service sites may require an entrance pass or fee. Depending on your trip plans, an interagency pass may save you money. Paterson Great Falls National Historical Park does not charge an entrance fee.

2026 Free Entrance Days in the National ParksCome experience the national parks! All National Park Service sites that charge an entrance fee will offer free admission to everyone (other fees, including timed entry or reservation fees, may apply). Beginning in 2026, free entrance on these days will be for US citizens and residents only. Nonresidents will pay the regular entrance fee and any applicable nonresident fees.
NPS America the Beautiful—the National Parks and Federal Recreational Lands PassWe currently do not sell or provide America the Beautiful Passes at our location. The nearest in-person sale location is Thomas Edison National Historical Park in West Orange, NJ. As of January 1st, 2018, Morristown National Historical Park in Morristown, NJ will no longer sell the $20 Senior Annual/$80 Senior Lifetime/$80 Annual Passes. The free Military, Access, and 4th Grade Every Kid Outdoors Passes will still be available. |
