If you plan on making North Cascades National Park Service Complex a destination for a special event or activity, or if you are a commercial or non-profit organization wishing to conduct services and/or activities within park boundaries, please review the information on this page carefully to determine the type of permit required.
Notice: COVID-19
Dear permit holder:
The National Park Service (NPS) is taking extraordinary steps to implement the latest guidance from the White House, Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC), and local and state authorities to promote social distancing. Where it is possible to adhere to this guidance, outdoor spaces will remain open to the public.
The NPS urges visitors to do their part when visiting a park and to follow CDC guidance to prevent the spread of infectious diseases by maintaining a safe distance between yourself and other groups; washing your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds; avoiding touching your eyes, nose, and mouth; covering your mouth and nose when you cough or sneeze; and most importantly, staying home if you feel sick.
Commercial Use Authorizations - All commerical services, including guided services, rentals, transport, etc. Non-profit and educational institutions may also require a permit under this category, depending on the type of service offered.
Special Use Permits - Non-guided special events such as weddings, spreading of ashes, first amendment activities, organized special events, etc. For weddings at Artist Point, contact Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest. For weddings at Washington Pass, contact Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest.
