![]() NPS Each year, volunteers at Manassas National Battlefield Park join with those around the country at other battlefields and related sites for Park Day, helping complete critical projects that beautify and preserve places that hold special meaning, significance, and value to themselves as well as others from all over the world. This year, the park's focus will be on Henry Hill, site of the final fighting of both First and Second Manassas. Additionally, 2025 marks the 160th anniversary of the Patriot's Monument on Henry Hill, and the park will be holding events on Memorial Day and in early June to mark this important milestone. Park Day Participants will help us prepare by helping plant trees, clear fence lines, and clean wayside exhibits. There may also be opportunity to remove invasive species offsite on the battlefield.
