Take a Tour!
Our site offers guided tours of the Lincoln Home, giving visitors a look into the Lincoln family during the seventeen years they lived in the house on the corner of Eighth and Jackson Streets. Visitors will get a glimpse into Lincoln’s life as a family man, as well as explore his rise as a successful lawyer and politician through the context of the Lincoln Home.
Today, the Lincolns' home draws hundreds of thousands of visitors each year. Admission to tour the house is free, but tickets are issued on a first-come, first-served basis and often fill up quickly. Each tour is limited to 15 individuals. Pick up a ticket inside the Lincoln Home Visitor Center for the 20-25 minute tour of the home.
Groups of 15 or more wishing to go on a tour of the Lincoln Home can do so free of charge, but must schedule their visit in advance. Please click here to go to our Fees & Passes page for more information.
