Tour Tickets

Entry into the Lincoln Home is only permitted through a ranger-led tour. Tour tickets are free and can be obtained at the Visitor Center front desk. Due to heavy visitation from March through November, visitors are encouraged to arrive as early as possible to reserve tickets. On busy days, tickets may run out prior to the last tour of the day, usually at 4:00pm.

Group Tours

School groups, charter tours, or other groups of 15 or more must reserve Lincoln Home tours in advance by contacting the Springfield Convention and Visitors Bureau (SCVB) as soon as possible. Groups planning to visit in April, May, or October should schedule approximately 6 months in advance. Reservations can be made through the SCVB website under the "Tours" pages. For more information on group tours, please call 1-800-7300 or email GroupTours@Springfield.IL.US

Parking Fee

There is a $2 per hour per vehicle fee to park in the Lincoln Home NHS parking lot. Parking can be paid for at the gate arm kiosk when leaving the parking lot. Visitors are asked to please pay with credit or debit card. We do not accept cash.

When driving down 7th street, our parking lot is located on the left-hand side after passing the Visitor Center. Individual visitors should not park in the parking lot located north of our Visitor Center, as this lot is for buses and oversized vehicles (e.g. RVs) only.

While there is no entrance fee, we do encourage all visitors to support the park through donations, which can be made in the Visitor Center and in the backyard of the Lincoln Home. Your donations help us maintain and share the history of Lincoln Home for future generations!

America the Beautiful Pass

Visitors can purchase an America the Beautiful Pass at our Visitor Center Front Desk. An America the Beautiful pass covers and/or reduces the entrance and amenity fees at different National Park and Federal Recreational Lands. It does not apply to parking fees in the Lincoln Home Parking lot. To learn more information about different kinds of America the Beautiful Passes, see the National Park America the Beautiful Pass webpage.

Visitors are asked to please pay with credit or debit card. We do not accept cash. Passes are available to purchase from 9:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
