The 100+ sites along Lewis and Clark National Historic Trail are operated by a variety of agencies and organizations who may charge an entrance fee to their site or a fee for their programming. Enjoy your visit!

If you plan to visit a National Park Service site or other Federal Lands with an entrance fee, you can pay at each individual site or purchase a pass.

Omaha, Nebraska Visitor Center

The Lewis and Clark National Historic Trail Headquarters Visitor Center in downtown Omaha, Nebraska does not charge an entrance fee. This visitor center does sell federal agency passes. See information below.

An entrance pass is not required to access Lewis & Clark National Historic Trail.

Other National Park Service sites may require an entrance pass or fee. Depending on your trip plans, an interagency pass may save you money.

No entrance fees are required. We do sell the America the Beautiful passes. They are available anytime the visitor center is open. 2024 Free Entrance Days in the National Parks

Come experience the national parks! All National Park Service sites that charge an entrance fee will offer free admission to everyone (other fees, including timed entry or reservation fees, may apply). Mark your calendar for these entrance fee-free dates:

• Monday, January 15 — Martin Luther King, Jr. Day
• Saturday, April 20 — First Day of National Park Week
• Wednesday, June 19 — Juneteenth
• Sunday, August 4 — The Great American Outdoors Act
• Saturday, September 28 — National Public Lands Day
• Monday, November 11 — Veterans Day
