Education programs in the park provide students with the opportunity to explore concepts taught in the classroom in a natural or historical setting. There is no charge for the programs, but reservations are required and accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Some programs are seasonally available due to the type of program and weather conditions.

Discover the powerful effects of water and the amazing geologic forces that shaped the landscape in Eastern Washington. Students will explore how water shapes the land and the massive effect of the Ice Age floods by building a model in the sand on the beach.
