America The Beautiful National Parks and Federal Recreations Lands Passes

The Interagency Annual, Annual 4th Grade, Senior, Access, and Active Duty Military Passes are sold and honored for free admission at all the National Park Service sites in Hyde Park.

The FDR Presidential Library and Museum admission is $10.00 for everyone except Access Pass holders, Military Pass Holders and children 15 and under. Please see the fee collector in the Henry Wallace Visitor and Education Center for more information on the passes.

 
2019 Annual Pass

Annual Pass

  • $80 annual pass
  • Available to everyone.
  • Can be obtained in person at a federal recreation site, or by calling 1-888-ASK USGS (1-888-275-8747), Ext. 3 (Hours of operation are: 8:00 am to 4:00 pm Mountain time), or online. Buy Now
  • Non-transferable.
 
2019 Military Pass
Free Annual Military Pass (Active Duty)
  • Available to U.S. military members and dependents in the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines and Coast Guard and also, Reserve and National Guard members.
  • Must be obtained in person at a Federal recreation site by showing a Common Access Card (CAC) or Military ID (Form 1173).

4th Grade Pass for 2018-2019

Annual 4th Grade Pass

  • Available to U.S. 4th graders (including home-schooled and free-choice learners 10 years of age) with a valid Every Kid in a Park paper pass.
  • The pass is valid for the duration of the 4th grade school year through the following summer (September-August).
  • Paper passes can be obtained by visiting the Every Kid in a Park website and can be exchanged for the Annual 4th Grade Pass at Federal recreation sites that charge Entrance or Standard Amenity Fees.
  • Digital version of the paper pass (such as on smart phones or tablets) will not be accepted to exchange for an Annual 4th Grade Pass.
  • The pass is non-transferable.

$80 Lifetime Senior Pass

Senior Passes

  • $80 Lifetime Senior Pass - This is a lifetime pass for U.S. citizens or permanent residents age 62 or over. Proof of age is required (U.S. Passport or state-issued driver's license / I.D. card is acceptable). The pass provides access to, and use of, Federal recreation sites that charge an Entrance or Standard Amenity. The pass admits the pass holder and passengers in a non-commercial vehicle at per vehicle fee areas and pass holder + 3 adults, not to exceed 4 adults, at per person fee areas (children under 16 are admitted free). The Senior Pass provides a 50 percent discount on some Expanded Amenity Fees charged for facilities and services such as camping, swimming, boat launch, and specialized interpretive services. In some cases where Expanded Amenity Fees are charged, only the pass holder will be given the 50 percent price reduction. The pass is non-transferable and generally does NOT cover or reduce special recreation permit fees or fees charged by concessionaires.

  • Note: Golden Age Passports are no longer sold. However, these passes will continue to be honored according to the provisions of the pass.

  • $20 Annual Senior Pass - This is a annual pass for U.S. citizens or permanent residents age 62 or over. Access Pass

Access Pass

  • Free
  • For U.S. citizens or permanent residents with permanent disabilities.
  • May be obtained in person at a federal recreation site or online through the USGS. The cost of obtaining an Access Pass online is ten dollars ($10) for processing the application (the Pass is free). Applicants must provide documentation of permanent disability and residency or citizenship.
  • May provide a 50 percent discount on some amenity fees charged for facilities and services such as camping, swimming, boat launching, and specialized interpretive services.
  • Generally does NOT cover or reduce special recreation permit fees or fees charged by concessioners.
  • Note: Golden Access Passports are no longer sold. However, these passes will continue to be honored according to the provisions of the pass.
