Hawaiʻi Volcanoes National Park's ranger-led curriculum-based programs for school groups focus on geology, forest ecology, and Hawaiian culture. These programs are designed to help teachers meet national and state curriculum standards. The primary goal is to provide students with a positive experience in the outdoors, while enhancing their classroom learning.
