The National Park Service has begun a major preservation project at Hampton National Historic Site, which preserves the core of a historic plantation in Towson, Maryland. Scheduled to begin construction in 2025, the project will repair up to fourteen historic structures and improve accessibility within surrounding landscape areas.

During this project, to ensure your safety, NPS staff and contractors will need to close different areas of the park while construction is taking place. We will work to keep as much of the park available as practicable during this project.

Please check our park alerts and conditions for any changes or closures as we proceed.
