Haleakalā Conservancy
As the Philanthropic Partner of Haleakalā National Park, Haleakalā Conservancy's mission is to inspire present and future generations to support projects and programs that preserve Haleakalā National Park. We fund projects, all designed and executed by park officials, in three pillar areas:
Conservation: The Park is home to more endangered species than any other national park in the United States, and we provide funding to support our endangered and endemic species and restore the habitats they need in order to survive.
Preservation: Haleakalā National Park spans over 33,000 acres, and the preservation of a place with so many culturally significant resources requires immense effort and thoughtful strategy, balancing what is accessible with what is sacred.
Education: We hope to inspire all past and future visitors to the island and to the Park to understand the deep significance of its resources, and bring those learnings with them into the world.
