Canyon Wren

This songbird is found in most of western North America and is especially common in arid rocky cliffs, on steep outcrops and in canyons. You can hear their song on most trails and lookouts through out the canyon.

Jays
Jays are medium-sized birds in the crow family, Corvidae. They are often colorful and noisy, and are commonly seen both in the Canyon and along the Rims. The three most common jays in the Park are Steller's Jay, Pinyon Jay, and Scrub Jay.

 

Raven

One of the most boisterous residents of Grand Canyon National Park is the common raven, (Corvus corax) which is seen by nearly every visitor to the park. Common ravens are extremely intelligent and often use tools or the actions of other animals (including humans) to get food. Because of their diverse diet, they are most commonly seen along the rims looking for food along the roads, in campgrounds, near buildings, or in parking lots.
