Fredericksburg and Spotsylvania National Military Park is excited to work with students and teachers to coordinate field trips and facilitate learning about the park and the history that the park protects. Education programs at the park cover topics related to the causes and consequences of the American Civil War, the context of the battles, and the social and polictial histories that shaped the course of events from before the Civil War until today.
