Required to enter the historic Frederick Douglass Home

The guided tour includes the upper and lower floors of the home and provides an intimate window into the life of Frederick Douglass. Space on each tour is limited. You are strongly encouraged to make a reservation to secure your spot on a tour. While walk-ins without a reservation are permitted if space is available, tours are frequently completely full well in advance. Plan ahead and reserve your tour today!

2024 Free Entrance Days in the National Parks

Come experience the national parks! All National Park Service sites that charge an entrance fee will offer free admission to everyone (other fees, including timed entry or reservation fees, may apply). Mark your calendar for these entrance fee-free dates:

 
Fees

There is no entrance fee. If you make a reservation to tour the historic house, there is a reservation fee of $1.00 for each reserved ticket for individuals and groups. School groups pay a special flat fee of $10.00.

Please note: You can only enter the historic house by being on a guided tour. Reservations are strongly encouraged.

 
Passes


Because the site does not charge an entrance fee, passes are not issued here. Learn more about the America the Beautiful - The National Parks and Federal Recreational Lands Pass series and fee-free days in the national parks.
