Around 1924, it was moved to its current location by the Army Air Service. Today, the Historic Hangar is located adjacent to Pearson Air Museum, a part of Fort Vancouver National Historic Site. The Historic Hangar features large, rolling aircraft doors that open wide, connecting the indoor space to an outdoor patio, making it ideal for events. The Historic Hangar at Pearson Air Museum is a premier venue for weddings, banquets, celebrations of life, parties, and other large events. The Historic Hangar can accommodate different capacities based on how the space is used. Occupancy may not exceed 400 individuals theater style seating or 300 individuals banquet style seating, upon final floor plan approval. Grounds Occupancy shall not exceed 500 individuals, upon final floor plan approval.
The venue is wheelchair and stroller accessible. Accessible restrooms are available. The Historic Hangar includes two accessible restrooms, tables, chairs, ceiling fans, a ceiling-mounted heater, and electricity access. Internet access may be available. Pearson Air Museum's parking lot has 42 parking spaces available for use. The first 12 non-ADA parking spaces are reserved for museum visitors during operating hours. On-street parking is first-come first-serve along E 5th Street. Parking lots are not exclusive to the event organizers or attendees. No parking is permitted on any grassy area adjacent to Pearson Air Museum.

Short Term Leasing RatesWeekends and Holidays: (Friday, Saturday, Sunday or Holiday) $325 per hour between 7 am and 12 am (midnight). Minimum rental time of 4 hours. Set up and removal time also charged.Weekdays: (Monday-Thursday; Excludes Holidays) $120 per daytime hour between 7 am and 5 pm. $200 per evening hour between 5 pm and 11 pm. Day and evening fees apply for events spanning day and evening hours. Minimum rental time of 4 hours. Set up and removal time also charged. Rates are subject to change. Additional Rent: Unanticipated costs incurred by the Lessor as a result of the use and occupancy of the Premises shall be due and owing immediately upon conclusion of the event.
