The CDC has created a new measure called the COVID-19 Community Level (community level), which uses three data sets: new COVID-19 cases, new COVID-19 hospital admissions, and percent of beds occupied by COVID-19 patients. The community level gives a more robust picture of the impact of COVID-19 than looking at new COVID-19 cases alone, as we did previously.
The requirement for mask wearing in federal facilities depends on the community level.
LOW or MEDIUM: Mask wearing is not required for staff, visitors, or others, regardless of vaccination status.
HIGH: Mask wearing is required for all people indoors, regardless of vaccination status and consistent with CDC and Safer Federal Workforce Task Force guidance on mask wearing.
Passport Stamps
Passport stamps for both Gettysburg NMP and Eisenhower NHS are located at the Gettysburg National Military Park Museum and Visitor Center Information Desk.
Battlefield Hours
The battlefield and roads are open thirty minutes before sunrise to thirty minutes after sunset.

Museum and Visitor Center
As the National Park Service monitors and responds to the COVID-19 pandemic, we work closely with the NPS Office of Public Health to use the latest science to guide our decision making. Consistent with CDC recommendations, people who are not fully vaccinated (less than 2 weeks past your final dose) must continue to wear masks indoors and in crowded outdoor spaces. All people, regardless of vaccination status, are required to wear a mask on all forms of public transportation and in healthcare settings on DOI lands.
