FREE Channel Islands Live distance learning programs are available for interactive participation at your location and at the Robert J. Lagomarsino Visitor Center in Ventura, California. Live Dives and Live Hikes are 20 - 30 minutes in length and are only conducted on Wednesdays at 11:00 AM PST.
If you are a school group participating in a Channel Islands Live program during a visit to the Robert J. Lagomarsino visitor center, programs start at 9:00 AM PST. If you cannot arrive by this time, your program will be adjusted.

To request a Channel Islands Live program from the Robert J. Lagomarsino visitor center in Ventura, California, please download the Education Reservation Request Form and complete Section 1 and Section 2. Save the document with your organization’s name in the title and email the completed form to chis_education@nps.gov.
When completing your form, please:
Verify that you are requesting a program on a Wednesday with a start time of 9:00 AM.
To request a virtual Channel Islands Live distance learning program from your location, please download the Education Reservation Request Form and complete Section 1 and Section 4. Save the document with your organization’s name in the title and email the completed form to chis_education@nps.gov.
When completing your form, please:
Verify that you are requesting a program on a Wednesday with a start time of 10:45 AM or 1:15 PM PST. We will connect with you 15 minutes prior to the program's start time.
