Q. What programs do you offer at the Blackstone River Valley NHP?
A. The Park offers programs year round. At Old Slater Mill, tours are offered seasonally from May - December on Thursdays - Sundays at 10:30 AM, 12:30 PM, and 2:30 PM. Special events and programs are also offered. Programs are also offered at the Blackstone River State Park and the other 4 park nodes. For a full listing of our programs, visit our calendar.

A. There certainly are, but the river is actually named after the Reverend William Blackstone.

A. The best place to start your visit is Old Slater Mill National Historic Landmark in Pawtucket, RI. At the visitor information station inside of Old Slater Mill, staff will be able to provide you with the latest information about programs and other offerings.
