Ranger-Guided Tours and Talks Trail guides for the self-guided tour are available in the visitor center. Ranger programs are offered during the summer months (weather and staff dependent), at 10:00am and 11:30am, and occassionally in the winter on weekends. Please note, these programs are NOT ranger-guided tours through Aztec West. These free programs normally consist of an under 30-minute talk, usually offered in the Great Kiva. Topics include geology, ancestral Pueblo engineering, bats, and more. Talks may also sometimes occur in the Heritage Garden or other locations; when arriving, check at the front desk for details. Special Tours Ranger-guided East Ruin Tours are typically offered monthly during the summer months (June-August). These dates are weather-dependent, so advanced scheduling can be problematic. To request to be contacted about one of these special tours, please email or call the Visitor Center. |
