HODGENVILLE, Ky – Abraham Lincoln Birthplace National Historical Park will be closed December 24-25, 2024, in observance of Christmas and Christmas Eve.
On December 19, 2024, President Biden issued an Executive Order which stated agencies of the Federal Government shall be closed on Christmas Eve 2024 and employees excused from duty. As such, the Park will be closed on December 24 and will remain closed through December 25.
The Birthplace Unit Visitor Center and Memorial Building will reopen on Thursday, December 26, 2024 at 9:00 a.m. (EST) for regularly scheduled hours of operation.
The Boyhood Home at Knob Creek is not affected by this closure and will remain closed for the season.
