No entrance pass required
An entrance pass is not required to access William Howard Taft National Historic Site. Other National Park Service sites may require an entrance pass or fee. Depending on your trip plans, an interagency pass may save you money. William Howard Taft National Historic Site discontinued the sale of America the Beautiful National Parks & Federal Recreation Lands Passes on January 1st, 2018. The park no longer sells the Annual Pass or Senior Pass. However, the park does distribute the Access Pass, the Annual Military Pass, the Lifetime Military Pass and the Every Kid Outdoors Pass. Please note, each of these passes have eligibility requirements that must be met in order to obtain each one.

Gold Star Families and Military Veterans Lifetime PassWilliam Howard Taft NHS carries and distributes the new Lifetime Pass for Gold Star Families and Military Veterans. In order to obtain the new pass, please ensure that you have one of the following valid and non-expired forms of identification with you when you visit the park. We cannot issue the card without one of these valid and non-expired forms of identification.

Additional America the Beautiful Pass Series InformationSenior Pass ChangesEffective August 28th, 2017, the price of the America the Beautiful – The National Parks and Federal Recreational Lands Senior Pass increased for the first time since 1994. The cost increased to $80 from $10 for a lifetime pass. Seniors (age 62 & older) also have the option to purchase an annual Senior Pass for $20. If purchased for four years, all four Annual Pass cards can be exchanged for a lifetime Senior Pass. Learn more about this and other passes when you visit the NPS Passes page.
