An entrance pass is not required to access Ulysses S Grant National Historic Site.

Other National Park Service sites may require an entrance pass or fee. Depending on your trip plans, an interagency pass may save you money.

Come experience the national parks! All National Park Service sites that charge an entrance fee will offer free admission to everyone (other fees, including timed entry or reservation fees, may apply). Mark your calendar for these entrance fee-free dates:

Fees

Entrance into the site is free. Guided tours of the Main House are also free, however advanced reservations are strongly recommended for groups of 15 or more. Call (314) 842-1867 Ext. 229 to make group reservations.

Passes

Although Ulysses S. Grant National Historic Site is a fee-free park, our cooperating association, JNPA, sells the America the Beautiful Annual and Senior Passes in our park store as a courtesy to visitors.

Access, Military, and 4th Grade - Every Kid Outdoors passes are also available at the site. The Access, Military and Senior passes are free but require verification of disability, military status, or age. (You must be at least 62 to purchase the Senior pass.)

Interagency passes include:

  • Annual Pass: $80
  • Annual Military Pass for Active Military: Free
  • Lifetime Military Pass for Veterans and Gold Star Families: Free
  • Annual Fourth Grade Pass for US students in fourth grade: Free
  • Annual Senior Pass: $20
  • Lifetime Senior Pass: $80
  • Lifetime Access Pass: Free
